Because of their petrifying gaze, it has been hard for them to communicate with other species easily (not to mention that they did not have the favor of the goddess), forcing them to move to the depths of the Wasteland to avoid causing trouble. But because of the lack of males in the Wastelands, it is causing their numbers to dwindle and slowly lead towards extinction, reducing them to a group of about 200 members.

For this reason, they decided to move to the Subspace on the invitation of Tomoe, and were accepted after going through an interview held by Makoto Misumi & Emma.
