Yayoi

The fiery second-in-command of the wooden mecha Steamer Benkei from the "A Tale of Two Robots" segment. Yayoi operates the complex web of levers, gears, and pulleys inside Benkei, keeping the machine functional while Sankichi acts as the hot-headed muscle. She and Sankichi share a comedic, bickering relationship. She constantly calls out his incompetence and stubborness, even as they trade blows with the Western villain's machine.
