Yellow Zelkova is one of the Four Metarex Kings. He relies solely on brute strength, and his physical strength is superior to all of the other kings. Yellow Zelkova tends to be a bit quick tempered and rash, and falls quite easily to traps. He loves curry.
He and the rest of the Metarex are revealed to be part of Cosmo's species, as proven by his true form in Episode 72 (even though Cosmo didn't recognize him as such because she had never seen a male member of her species in her life). Zelkova still tries to destroy Sonic and his friends but Knuckles knocks him into a nearby lava pit with his punch. Knuckles jumps into the pit to try to save Zelkova, but Zelkova accepting his fate, refuses, sliding into the lava and dying.
