Pfeifer was an Alliance lieutenant commander and former adjutant to then Vice Admiral Alexandre Bewcock. He collapsed due to a heart attack in January 799 UC caused by overwork as a result of the Imperial annexation of Fezzan and was replaced by Soun Soulszzcuaritter.
