Synopsis
Akane Tsunemori confronts a new threat that manipulates Sibyl System metrics, challenging her beliefs and society's justice.
A year and a half after the events of the original sci-fi psychological thriller, Akane Tsunemori continues her work as an inspector—enforcing the Sibyl System's judgments. Joining her are new enforcers and junior inspector Mika Shimotsuki, a young woman whose unwavering faith in the system contrasts sharply with Akane's growing doubts. As Akane questions both the nature of her role and the legitimacy of Sibyl's absolute authority, a disturbing new challenge emerges that threatens to undermine the very foundations of their society. A mysterious figure appears to have found a way to manipulate the fundamental metrics by which the Sibyl System judges human potential, forcing Division 01 to confront unprecedented threats to their understanding of justice and order. In this deadly psychological game, Akane must navigate not only external dangers but also the internal conflicts that arise when long-held beliefs are challenged, testing the limits of her convictions and the true nature of the system she's sworn to uphold.
