After waiting 9 long years, this sequel delivers only nostalgia and occasional comedy, while suffering from painfully slow pacing, disappointing character designs, janky animation, and flat character development. The story meanders without exploring interesting plot points, the fight scenes rely on still imagery, and the romance elements feel random and unnecessary. This is a huge disappointment that leaves the series "in the mud" - the most striking aspect being how dramatically the production quality degraded over time, turning what should have been a triumphant return into a snoozefest.
