Hime and episode 13 provide the only flashes of competence, plus one eerie soundtrack cue that actually fits the mood. Everything else is a repetitive slog—23 of 25 episodes recycle the same monster-of-the-week template, the male lead is unbearably useless, and the main plot only wakes up to die in the pre-final episode. Overall, Princess Resurrection squanders its potential and lands squarely in the “poor” bin. If you must sample it, stick to episode 13 and spare yourself the rest.
