Tsukushi Makino, a trainee for a New York City performing arts group, is down on her luck. As a novice among seasoned dancers, she mainly performs unglamorous chores and yearns for her time in the spotlight. Beneath the starry sky and vibrant neon glow of the city, she immerses herself in her passion—dancing—with the dream in her heart of becoming a true professional. Facing financial challenges, she understands that her journey will demand even greater perseverance. A few events disrupt her rhythm, but a helping hand from fellow dancers Rui Hanazawa and Tsukasa Domyouji helps her regain her footing.
