Synopsis
Cultist Yukito drowns, reborn in godless world, questions if escaping faith truly saved him.
Under the belief that the omnipotent god Mitama will come to save him, Yukito Urabe participates in a ritual to become the new leader of his father's cult. But when the boy drowns during the ritual, he wishes to be reborn in a world without gods or religion. Reawakening in a completely different world devoid of spirituality, Yukito finds himself in a society that has abandoned faith entirely. He meets a peculiar girl named Aruaru, who introduces him to her village and the stark realities of this new world. As Yukito struggles to understand this godless society and his place within it, he begins to question whether escaping his past was truly the salvation he sought.
