Synopsis

Ban Chao leads a diverse squad of 36 experts westward seeking immortality secrets and a Golden Buddha while uncovering his father's framing.

Emperor Ming of the Han Dynasty bestowed Ban Chao, who came from a family of historians, the Bronze Swallow Tally, and delegated him on a mission to the Western Regions in search of the secret of immortality and the Golden Buddha which he once dreamed of. Ban Chao gathered together Kungfu masters hidden in the capital, the heirs to the Mo Clan, members of the Thieves' Guild, and the Yelang shaman, etc., in total of thirty-six people to form his squad. In addition to fulfilling the Emperor's wish, during this mission, he also tried to find his family's historical connections and the real culprit who framed his father.
