Gran and the crew of the Grandcypher find themselves seeking refuge from the Erste Empire's pursuit. When an unexpected opportunity arises to negotiate peace, they journey to the neutral grounds of Albion Citadel, where they are graciously welcomed by Vira Lillie, the Lord Commander of Albion and an old acquaintance from Katalina's past. As diplomatic discussions unfold, the crew receives official pardons from the Empire, though the atmosphere remains charged with uncertainty. During their stay, they attend a grand celebration hosted by Vira, mingling with both allies and former adversaries. However, the extended presence of Imperial forces on the island raises suspicions among the crew. When rumors surface about a powerful Primal Beast residing on Albion, the Skyfarers find themselves drawn into a complex web of politics and hidden agendas. As they navigate these treacherous waters, the crew must balance their desire for peace with growing concerns about the Empire's true intentions.
