Synopsis
Orphaned, chronically ill Minori faces school bullying until two classmates befriend her outside school to bring joy to her life.
Minori Amamiya is an orphaned girl with frequent absences from school for her chronic illness. Because of these hindrances, she has been singled out as an easy target for bullying by her middle school classmates, who torment her constantly with numerous malicious rumors about her. While not all of her classmates victimize her, they lack the courage to stand up for Minori due to fears of being the next target. However, two of Minori's peers, Takashi Aoi and Kyouko Tsukihashi, finally decide that something must be done. Too timid to act directly, they create a plan to befriend Minori outside of school hours, and give her depressing life some joy.
