Synopsis

Ordinary gamer trapped in cultivation game must save Faerie Continent to escape home.

Li Xiaobai, an ordinary young man, finds himself mysteriously transported into the immersive world of Faerie Continent—a standalone cultivation game where players experience life as cultivators in a mystical realm. Upon arrival, he joins the Xianyu Sect of the Northern Territory, becoming the seventh disciple of the esteemed Feng Lingzi at Misty Peak. However, Li Xiaobai soon discovers that something has gone terribly wrong. The game's system has been tampered with by an unknown force, trapping him within this virtual world. His only hope of escape lies in completing the game's ultimate mission: to save the world itself. Armed with a unique system that allows him to grow stronger through defensive battles and a determination to find his way home, Li Xiaobai begins his journey as a cultivator. He must navigate the complex world of sect politics, cultivation competitions, and mystical beasts while gradually uncovering the truth behind his predicament. As he progresses through various trials and encounters both allies and adversaries, Li Xiaobai learns that his path to freedom is intertwined with the fate of this entire realm. Each challenge he faces brings him closer to understanding not only the mysteries of Faerie Continent, but also the true nature of his own unexpected journey. This is a tale of adventure, cultivation, and self-discovery, where an ordinary person must rise to extraordinary circumstances to find their way home.
