Synopsis
Post-war Gundam pilots disarm, but a new threat forces them to reconsider their roles in maintaining peace.
It is A.C. 196—one year after the conflict between Earth and its nearby space colonies ended with the formation of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation. As mankind enters a new era of unity and prosperity, four of the five Gundam pilots decide to follow in society's footsteps and disarm by launching their mobile suits into the sun. However, their plan is unexpectedly suspended when a new threat emerges that challenges the fragile peace. Deciding that they may be needed once more to defend the Earth Sphere, Heero Yuy, Trowa Barton, Duo Maxwell, and Quatre Raberba Winner face difficult choices about their roles in this new world. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, the former pilots must confront what it truly means to fight for peace when the very ideals they once protected seem to be crumbling around them.
