Musashi returns to his quiet village after a long absence, finding himself strangely drawn to the familiar sights and sounds of his grandmother's home. Though he can't quite place why everything feels both foreign and comforting at once, he's welcomed warmly by his grandmother and meets a gentle girl named Tamamo who claims to have been his childhood friend. As Musashi tries to piece together the fragments of his forgotten past, he begins experiencing strange dreams and sensations that hint at deeper mysteries surrounding his life in the village.
