Synopsis
Teen pilots fight Angels in giant mechs while NERV's secrets and Gendou's agenda threaten humanity's fate.
In a post-apocalyptic world where humanity's survival depends on giant biomechanical weapons called Evangelions, teenage pilot Shinji Ikari struggles with the psychological weight of his role in protecting Earth from mysterious beings known as Angels. As the organization NERV continues its mission to defend humanity, tensions rise between different factions with conflicting visions for humanity's future. Shinji and his fellow pilots—including the fiery Asuka Langley Souryuu—must navigate not only the physical dangers of their battles but also the complex web of secrets surrounding NERV's true purpose. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Gendou Ikari, NERV's commander and Shinji's estranged father, pursues his own mysterious agenda while powerful forces begin to move in the shadows. As the stakes escalate and the lines between ally and enemy blur, the young pilots find themselves at the center of a conflict that will determine the fate of all humanity.
