Sakurako-san deserves credit for tackling the underused mystery genre with an intriguing bone-obsessed detective premise that could have been excellent. However, the anime crumbles under rushed episodic pacing that compresses complex mysteries into 1-2 episodes, an overpowered protagonist who instantly solves cases without letting viewers participate, and a supporting cast so forgettable they barely register.
