Otaku siblings Tamotsu and Niwaka Denkigai are enjoying a typical day shopping in Akihabara when the district is suddenly overrun by bizarre vampiric creatures dressed in cosplay outfits! These mysterious beings, known as "Bugged Ones," possess the ability to control anyone they bite and quickly begin spreading chaos throughout the electronics mecca. During the initial attack, Tamotsu finds himself in grave danger until he encounters Matome Mayonaka, a mysterious girl who wields a baseball bat with deadly precision. As the city descends into supernatural mayhem, Tamotsu and Matome form an unlikely partnership to combat the growing threat. Soon joined by Arisa Ahokainen, an energetic cosplayer with extensive otaku knowledge, the trio forms "The Electric Mayonnaise" - a team dedicated to protecting Akihabara from the Bugged Ones. Their unconventional battle strategy involves stripping these creatures of their clothing to expose them to sunlight, the monsters' one weakness. Together, they must defend their beloved otaku paradise from this bizarre invasion while uncovering the truth behind the Bugged Ones' origins.
