Synopsis
Lafiel becomes ambassador to prison planet Lobnas II, facing inmate unrest and an approaching enemy fleet.
Due to a lack of ambassadors for the recently-conquered worlds the rapidly advancing fleet of the Bebaus brothers leave behind, Lafiel is appointed Territorial Ambassador of the planet Lobnas II. Upon arriving to the planet, Jinto and Lafiel discover that Lobnas II was previously used as a prison world by the United Mankind, now housing a million inmates on its only inhabited island. The prisoners are divided into three distinct sectors: a western area for women, an eastern zone for men, and a central region where sterilized prisoners of both genders coexist under strict supervision. As Lafiel begins her diplomatic duties, tensions simmer among the prisoner populations, while the threat of an approaching enemy fleet adds urgency to the already complex situation on this troubled world.
