Synopsis
Supernatural vigilantes called Scards protect Akatsuki Ward from foreign invaders as young Yamato joins their dangerous conflict.
Under siege by foreign organizations, the Akatsuki Special Ward is a battlefield tainted with greed and violence, abandoning its citizens caught in the crossfire. In the wake of the anarchic turmoil emerges the Scard—vigilantes who wield supernatural abilities gifted to them by divine tattoos. Among them is Eiji Arashiba, the Hero of Akatsuki, who protects the district from tyrant outsiders. When a young boy named Yamato Kai crosses paths with Eiji, their fateful encounter draws him into the dangerous world of the Scard. As the ward continues to collapse under conflict, Yamato finds himself caught between rival factions and must navigate the treacherous landscape of power, loyalty, and survival. With the fate of Akatsuki hanging in the balance, new alliances will form and the next generation must rise to face the challenges threatening to tear their home apart.
