Synopsis

Ryōma Echizen, tennis prodigy and son of legendary Samurai Nanjirō, joins Seigaku Middle School in Japan.

The hero of the story is Ryōma Echizen, a Japanese boy who spent many years living in the United States. His father, Nanjirō Echizen, known as the Samurai, became a great tennis champion recognized worldwide. The story begins when Ryōma arrives in Japan and decides to enroll at Seishun Gakuen Middle School, also called Seigaku, which is known for having a highly skilled tennis team. The first chapter begins with his arrival in Tokyo, where he is searching for a tournament he has registered for. He meets Sakuno Ryūzaki but ends up missing the competition. However, he does play a match against Sasabe, an arrogant player who can do nothing but concede defeat, losing 6-0 in the anime and 6-2 in the manga, while Ryōma was playing right-handed—even though he is actually left-handed. by wekipédia
