'Boushoku no Berserk' Gets Second Season
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ichika Isshiki's Boushoku no Berserk (Berserk of Gluttony) light novel announced a second season on Monday, revealing an announcement visual (pictured).
Produced by A.C.G.T., the first season aired in 12 episodes in Fall 2023. Crunchyroll simulcasted the anime with multiple subtitles and dubs.
Isshiki began writing the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2017 before transferring it to Kakuyomu in March 2022. Micro Magazine began publishing the series under its GC Novels imprint in November 2017, featuring illustrations by fame (Saikyou no Shienshoku "Wajutsushi" de Aru Ore wa Sekai Saikyou Clan wo Shitagaeru). The eighth volume was released in April 2024.
Daisuke Takino began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Ride website in March 2018. Micro Magazine published the 14th volume in September 2025, with the 15th volume going on sale on April 28.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English in July 2020. The eighth light novel volume went on sale in January 2024. The 14th manga volume was released in December 2025, with the 15th volume set to be released on June 16.
