'Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange' Reveals Additional Staff, First Promo
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Masahito Soda and Kuro Tomiyama's Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange (Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange) manga revealed on Saturday additional staff members and a promotional video. The anime is set to broadcast on September 30 at 5:30 p.m. on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV-affiliated channels.

Masahiko Murata (Baby Steps) is directing the anime at animation studio Brain's Base. Shinzou Fujita (Fumetsu no Anata e) is handling the series composition. Hitomi Tsuruta (World Trigger) and Kouji Yabuno (Uchuu Kyoudai) are designing the characters.
Soda serialized the original action drama manga series in 20 volumes on the Shounen Sunday magazine from August 1995 to June 1999.
The sequel manga, Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange, began serialization on the Monthly Shounen Magazine in October 2020. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume on May 17.
